After spending the summer working with SEAWA Alberta's most south-eastern Watershed Planning & Advisory Council (WPAC) in Medicine Hat, Shariq returned to Calgary to continue his studies at the University of Calgary. In this reflection, filmed along the Bow River, he looks back on his experience as a NextGen Watershed team member and the role of community engagement and watershed education in connecting people with the watersheds around them.
