    The South East Alberta Watershed Alliance (SEAWA) brings together diverse partners to educate the public, to support knowledge development, and to develop and facilitate the implementation of management plans for the sustainable use of the South Saskatchewan River Sub-Basin and the Pakowki Lake watershed.

Southern Alberta Grazing School for Women 

Date: July 16–17, 2025 Location: Twin Butte Hall (between Pincher Creek and Waterton) Cost: $135.00 (includes all meals)

  This incredible event is designed to empower and connect women in agriculture across Southern Alberta. With a mix of hands-on field sessions and engaging indoor discussions, it’s a great opportunity to build knowledge, gain practical skills, and foster lasting relationships with other ranching women.

Outdoor Highlights:
• Range health & litter estimates
• Riparian health assessments
• Plant identification
• Bear safety

Indoor Sessions Include:
• Ranching women panel
• Predator conflict avoidance
• Species at risk
• Elk and liver fluke impacts on livestock… and more!

Whether you're a returning attendee or thinking of joining for the first time, we highly encourage you to take part. It’s always an inspiring and educational experience!
