Fall Shoreline Clean Up 2021

We were fortunate enough to have a warm fall, which left time for a volunteer event at Connaught Pond! On November 6, 2021, 15 volunteers helped SEAWA staff and board members pick up the garbage and remove invasive climbing nightshade, Russian olive, and reed canary grass around the pond. Many hands makes for light work and we had a majority of the target species removed and many bags of garbage picked up in two hours. Thank you so much to all our awesome volunteers!
