SEAWA Awarded the Medicine Hat Community Spirit Award: Environment

Earlier this year, SEAWA was awarded the Medicine Hat Community Spirit Award: Environment, for achievements and efforts in environmental stewardship and sustainability. An award ceremony was held on October 3rd to introduce the winners and officially present them with their awards. SEAWA Chair Garry Lentz attended and accepted the award on behalf of SEAWA.

Martha Munz Gue introduced SEAWA on behalf of the nominator, Grasslands Naturalists; click here to read her introduction. SEAWA would like to thank Grasslands Naturalists once again for the nomination, and we look forward to continued participation and encouragement of environmental stewardship in southeast Alberta.
